Announcement 

We are getting a lot of questions about the status of our Nadag integration, and when it will be ready for you as users. The Field Manager team is continuously in dialog with NGU and testing the new API for syncing data to Nadag, but there are still many technical issues that NGU needs to sort out before they have a working solution ready. The law states that all organizations must report their data to Nadag within 3 months after the new API is ready in production, and Field Manager will offer a solution to do this in a simple way in good time before that deadline.

Small release this week:

• SRIDs for cross sections now update correctly when project SRID changes.

Change

We have one very important change this release, and that is the changes we have made to the SGF parser. This will affect how we read SGF sounding files. The goal is to catch more anomalies in the files and present the results in a more consistent way. 

Changes:

• Update the SGF parser to line by line parsing, such that K-codes no longer overrule during parsing
• Use the accept_language header for cross section plot endpoint
• Fix LAS export interpolation when columns don't have a start or end value
• Add cross section toggle instead of map layout toggle
• Changed cross section styling: Line color is now yellow
• No duplicate names on cross section validation on front end

New

• Implement language option for cross section plot as input from endpoint
• Add zoom to cross section view
• Add SGF methods IW and INC

A smaller release this week, but with some important changes:

 Change 

• The status toggle in Map Layout (Borplan) form now actually toggels on and off the status in the map as well as in the pdf legend. Status toggle in map layout can also be set in the location list.

• Cross Section: It is now possible to filter on methods when creating a cross section.

• Added support for project-level custom Web Map Service (WMS), enabling greater flexibility in map integrations.
• New import templates for CSV and XLSX files now include support for subtype

• File downloads now use the correct encoding for filenames, ensuring special characters display correctly.

• Resolved an issue where the MapLayout scale was incorrectly set; now correctly supporting a 1:200 scale.
• Added SP as an alias for hammering pressure in Total Sounding (TOT) and Soil Rock Sounding (SRS) methods.
• Fixed an issue where engine pressure from SND files for SRS was incorrectly placed in the remarks field.
• WMS/Organization checkboxes are now properly unchecked when the dialog is closed on mobile.

A smaller release this week:

    New

•     We now support .las file type for location export

    Fix

•     On blur editing in method card
•     Corrected calculation of penetration resistance in SRS and RCD plots
•     Fixed the axis direction in SRS cross section plot

    Change

• Changed the style of DP plot
• We had to shrink SRS cross section plot a bit
• We have added method subtype to location export and import routines. The only method types supported for this are Soil Rock Sounding (SRS), Dynamic Probing (DP) and WeightSounding Test (WST).

You can now export the location of your cross sections as a DXF or SHAPE file. To do this, select the cross section(s) you want to export and click the "Download" arrow. Then, choose the format you want for the export.

Breaking Change 

•     We have renamed the "type" attribute for the Dynamic Probing (DP) method to "dynamic_probing_type" to avoid confusion with what it represents.

Improvement

 Huge improvement to the linked projects feature:

•         We now show all locations from a linked project, with status of the location. Previously we only showed approved locations.
•         You can now view geotechnical data on locations from linked projects. The data is "read only" and no changes can be made to the linked data. 
•         Linked locations are now shown in the location list. 

 Landing page: 

• The map on the landing page now filters with the search and table view.       

New

•     Mobile: Button for uploading data directly in mobile view
•     Support for importing SGF formatted Dynamic Probing files with extension .dpsha, .dpl, .dpm, .dph, and .dpshb.
•     Support for importing SGF files with Weight Sounding Test (WST) methods using the old method code 2.

Fix 

• Mobile: Users can now view custom map layers from .dxf or .shp on mobile view.

There is a a lot being released today, but it's mostly minor changes and bug fixes.

• Implemented WMS layer organization authorization to prevent loading organization-specific WMS layers if the user is not part of that organization.
• Added SRS, WST, and DP to cross section plots.
• Added support for the method Pressure Sounding (Tr) / Swedish trycksondering.
• Expanded export of cross section line from one line to multiple lines.
• Added placeholders for the Swedish method types Pressure Sounding/Trycksondering (Tr), Impact sounding/Slagsondering (Slb), and Stick sounding/Sticksondering (Sti).
