Release note

Big release this time!

Improvement

As part of our ongoing lab data improvement, we have upgraded how you can add, view and handle samples in Field Manager :

  • Add a series of samples in a location
  • Choose your sample interval and starting depth
  • Set sampling technique and container type, e.g. "piston sample and tube"
  • Add container ID for handling in the lab
  • Add material (clay, sand, silt, etc.)
  • See what samples have been retrieved and which ones are voided
  • Edit samples in batch
  • Add comments to each sample

Improvement

We have upgraded the method card:

  • More compact visually and easier to read.
  • More intuitive handling when you have more than one method in a location.

New

New Project Standard :

  • The project "standard" (NGF, SGF, IOGP or Offshore Wind) is created so that users in a project will only see what's relevant for them.
  • Organization admins can add relevant project standards for their organizations as well as set the default standard for their organization
  • Project admins can change the project standard for their project.
  • Symbols are connected to a project standard so that an IOGP project will have symbols different from those of NGF.
  • Plots for Dynamic Probing (DP) and Weight Sounding Test (WST)

Fix

  • Fix a bug when trying batch add methods of different types to a location.
  • Fix a bug when adding a linked project to a second project, then the first link was removed.
  • Fix missing Core Drilling (CD) data in the map. CD methods should now show correctly on the map.
  • Fix a typo in `location_url` in the result from the endpoint `GET /projects/{project_id}/gis/onshore` (missing an`s` in the `locations` part).

New release: Project map on landing page

We're excited to release the first version of our project map on the landing page! You can now navigate the map and find the location of your project, either as a point or as a polygon that shows the boundaries of your borehole locations.

  • On the landing page it is now possible to sort your project, e.g. by last updated or project number
  • Increased size of file upload to 500 Mb

Release note

NEW

  • Data model and support for parsing files with .VIM extension as SGF formatted Weight Sounding Test data files
  • Allow Dissipation Tests to be imported from SGF files.

Fix

  • Two issues related to TOT hammer parsing
  • Improved handling of errors related to token validation

Change

  • Plot figure numbers. If sorting figures by location, figure numbering = Prefix (optional) + Start number. If sort figures by method, for each method, figure numbering = Method Prefix + Start number. The default start number is 1.

Release note

Fix

  • Fix a problem with uploading image files to project (top level). Trying to attach to the nearest location within 5 meters of the image GPS position. A bug in the code also considered deleted locations. If there was a deleted location with a coordinate system different from the project's, then it would crash.
  • Problem with importing locations from AGS files when the file is in another coordinate system than the project. Now the import will transform and store the location coordinates in the project's coordinate system.
  • Add missing sample data to the (internal) GET /projects/{project_id}/locations_summaries endpoint. Missing data, now added:
    - "Sample" column sample_container_id
    - "Container type" column container_type_id
    - "Sampling technique" column sampling_technique_id
  • Prevent changing a method type. Not allowed. Affect the endpoint PUT /projects/{project_id}/locations/{location_id}/methods/{method_id}

Release note

Minor change this week, but an important one:

We have moved the "comments on locations" into a new tab on the location card, (see image below). This also includes the mobile view, so you are now able to see location comments on mobile or on the field computer (image at the bottom). You can still add comments on the specific methods as before.
